The Rewards

Children will be rewarded individually for achieving house points. Children are responsible for their own house points in their house point book. Each book contains spaces for the house points to be recorded.

250 House Points – Bronze Award

500 House Points- Silver Award

750 House Points Gold Award

1000 House Points Platinum Award

1250 House Points Head’s Award

1500 House Points Governor’s Award

House Points

Any member of staff can award House Points to any child, at any time and for any reason if they are caught demonstrating the Savile Park Values. These are care, community, commitment, challenge and creativity. Children can also be awarded house points for representing their house or school, effort, good attitude or by demonstrating good manners.

5, 10 or 20 house points may be awarded.

5 house points may be awarded for holding a door open, or answering questions in class.

10 house points may be awarded for a piece of work which demonstrates high standards of achievement or presentation.

20 house points may be awarded for an exceptional piece of work or behaviour.

Children and Houses will also be awarded House points at assembly for good behaviour and/or participation.

Being in the ‘Gold Book’ will automatically generate 10 house points for their house

Pen license = 20 house points

House Points will also be given out for participating in or winning whole school or House Competitions.
